Audiences can be used in a number of different communication areas. You can use audiences when sending emails or SMS or creating an automated sequence.

To create an audience go to Settings and then Communications & Marketing.

From the sub menu, click on Audiences.

To create a new audience select + Add a New Audience.

There are a number of different client characteristics and activities that can be used to create audiences.

Client details

Create an audience based on client details including age, gender and financial concession status. In this section you can also choose client tags to create an audience.

TIP Using client tags in an audience allows you to create infinite groups of people based on your own definitions. For example you could have injury type tags like shoulder, cspine, ankle etc.

Appointments and classes

The appointment and class sections allows you to create audience based on the location the client visited, the appointment or class type attended, if they have future appointments or the last time they attended an appointment.

Memberships

The membership section allows you to create audiences based on the membership history of the client. This includes membership types, if the client has active memberships or even if they have never had a membership before.

TIP Audiences criteria are "AND" not "or".

You can use multiple sections to narrow down the criteria, allowing you to create very specific audiences.

For example if you choose client demographic of female, age 35-45 and you choose appointment type Initial Physiotherapy and you choose class type Yoga. The client must fulfil all criteria selected. That is, they much be female between the ages of 35 and 45 AND have attended or be booked an for an Initial Physiotherapy appointment AND have attended or be booked for a Yoga class.

Once complete, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Create New Audience.

Your new audience will now be saved and visible within the audience menu.
