With Pogozo you can simplify the billing process for classes and appointments with memberships and class passes. There are a number of differences and similarities between the two so we thought we'd break them down for you.

How they are similar:

  • Both allow for automated billings - simply integrate your business with Stripe and any purchases of memberships and class passes will automatically be billed to your client's account

  • Both allow for one off or reoccurring memberships when your business is integrated with Stripe

  • Both are customisable for locations, class types and off peak hours

How they are different:

Memberships

  • Allow for customisation of attendance limits per week, no matter the billing cycle length

  • Can include both appointments and classes

Pass card memberships

  • Allow for customisation of a specific number of classes clients can attend over a certain period of time

  • Send an itemised invoice when the client checks into class suitable for private health insurance claiming

So which membership should you use? Here is a quick guide based on the most common membership features:

  • Itemised invoices for private health insurance claiming - Pass card or recurring pass card

  • Unlimited classes a week - Single or recurring membership

  • 2 classes per week - any of the membership types!

  • 2 classes a week with a "free" massage every 3 months - Recurring membership

Take a look at some of our business examples below:

Use our pass card membership, with 10 sessions and a 3 month expiry. Simply check the clients in each session and the invoice will automatically be sent.

Physiotherapy clinic who wants to offer a 2/week membership but also wants easy invoicing for private health insurance claiming. Use our recurring pass card membership, with 2 sessions and a 1 week expiry. The client will be charged for a weekly membership and simply check the clients in each session and the invoice will automatically be sent.

Physiotherapy clinic with non-claimable Pilates and Yoga classes who wants to offer an unlimited number of classes a week for a monthly fee. Use our single or recurring membership with unlimited attendance and a 1 month expiry.
