What this report shows
The Cancelled/expired memberships report shows memberships that ended in a given year, either because they were cancelled or because they expired. Use it to see how much membership churn you had and to review the individual memberships that ended.

What's on the page
Cancelled/expired memberships over time (chart)
A column chart showing how many memberships ended in each period of the selected year, so you can see when your cancellations and expiries clustered.
Cancelled/expired memberships table
One row per membership that ended, with these columns:
Name = the member.
Email = the member's email address.
Membership Title = the membership they were on.
Location = the business location.
Date Subscribed is when the membership started.
Status is whether the membership was Cancelled or Expired.
This report is a list. It shows individual records, not calculated totals, so there are no formulas to explain here.
Filters and options
See Filters and date ranges for Location, Membership and the date controls.
How a membership is counted for a year: a membership shows up for the year you're viewing if it was cancelled in that year, or, depending on the membership type, if it was due to expire or renew in that year. So both memberships someone actively cancelled and memberships that lapsed at the end of their term are captured for the year.
Control specific to this report:
Expired / Cancelled. It is a multi-select that narrows the list to just cancelled memberships, just expired memberships, or both. It's a straight choice of which endings to include, there's no calculation behind it.
