What this report shows
The Incomplete treatment notes report lists appointments that are missing their treatment notes, so you can chase up notes that still need writing. Each row points to an appointment with an incomplete note and gives you a quick way to add it.
Who can see it
Incomplete treatment notes only appears in the Clinic menu if you have access to treatment notes, that is, your business has treatment notes available to you and you have permission to view and edit appointment notes for clients. Without that access the item won't show in the menu.
How to open it
Reports → Clinic → Incomplete treatment notes.
The report doesn't load anything until you choose a filter. Until then it waits for a filter selection rather than showing a list.
What's on the page
Incomplete treatment notes table
One row per appointment with an incomplete treatment note. Each row identifies the client, the practitioner, and the appointment and its date, and includes an Action column with a link to add the missing note directly from the report.
This report is a list. It shows individual records, not calculated totals, so there are no formulas to explain here.
Filters and options
See Filters and date ranges for the available controls.
Note specific to this report: the report waits for a filter selection before it shows anything.
Printing and exporting
See Printing and exporting reports for how print and export work and the 1,000-row PDF limit.
Note: the Action column (the link you use to add a note) is only on the on-screen report — it isn't included in the printed or exported version, which is a plain list of the incomplete notes.
