Pogozo's default SMS templates are ready to use straight away, but the real magic is in making them your own. Learn how to create, edit, and delete SMS templates to keep your client communications consistent and on-brand.
TIP: Keep your SMS short and simple - 180 characters or less is ideal. SMS costs are $0.10* per message and each SMS is 180 characters long.
Getting to your SMS templates
Go to Settings, then Communication & marketing and select SMS templates.
Creating a new template
Click + Add new template.
Give your template a name - this is just for your reference, clients won't see it.
Write your SMS content in the text box. You can personalise your messages using placeholders from the dropdown menus, learn more in the How to use placeholders guide.
Click Create new template to save.
Editing an existing template
Find the template you'd like to edit, click the three dots to the right of it, and select Edit.
Make your changes, then click Update template to save.
Setting a template as inactive/active
Find the template you'd like to set as inactive, click the toggle to the right of it and the template will be moved to the inactive list.
To make an inactive template as active again select Show inactive SMS templates
Find the template you want to make active and click the toggle to the right of it. The template will be moved back to the active list.
Deleting a template
Find the template you'd like to delete, click the three dots to the right of it, and select Delete.
IMPORTANT: Deleting a template is permanent and can't be undone. Before deleting, make sure the template isn't being used in any appointment or class communications or automated sequences — if it is, those SMS will stop sending.
