How to send emails, SMS, or push notifications from a client’s profile

In Pogozo there are lots of ways you can communicate with your clients. Between the communication hub, automated sequences and appointment and class specific notifications there are options for all scenarios.

When you just want to send a quick email or SMS during a consult or when checking in on a client, you can do so straight from the client's profile. You can choose to send an email, an SMS, or a push notification.

To start, go to the Clients section and open the profile of the client you want to contact.

From their profile, click on the Communications tab. Once you are in the communications section, you will see three options:

  • Email

  • SMS

  • Push Notification.


Sending an Email

Click on send email.

A pop-up window will appear where you can create your email either from scratch or by choosing a template. Your email needs:

  • an email type (simple or fancy)

  • a subject and

  • a body

You can choose between a simple email, which is your basic text type email, or a fancy email, which allows for a more visually appealing design with pictures, buttons and social media links.

If you select an email template, the subject and body will auto-populate, and you can customise them as needed.

If you prefer, you can skip the template and create the subject and body yourself.

Once you are happy with the content, scroll down and click Send. Your email will be delivered directly to the client and will also show up in the client's communication log.


Sending an SMS


Click on Send SMS.

A pop-up window will appear for you to prepare your message. You can select an SMS template if you have one saved, or you can type the message manually.


After finalising the content, click Send, and the SMS will be delivered to the client’s phone number.


Sending a Push Notification


Click on Send Push Notification.

A pop-up window will appear where you can either choose a push notification template or manually type in the notification title and content.

Once you have prepared your message, click Send, and the push notification will be delivered straight to the client’s device via the Pogozo app.

TIP The client must have downloaded and signed into the Pogozo mobile app to receive push notifications.

With these options, keeping your clients updated and engaged is simple and efficient all from one central place in their profile.
