Setting up Pogozo for your classes only is a great way to dip your toes in and see how smoothly your workflows can run. Below we will walk you through a simple setup so you can start managing classes quickly and more efficiently. But fair warning… most businesses who start here end up loving it so much they switch everything over.

TIP If you are planning on using Pogozo for classes alongside your Cliniko or Nookal account, we suggest you still use our data migration tool and follow our Cliniko and Nookal transfer guides. This may mean some extra information like billable items and treatment notes come over but this makes the full transition much smoother in the future.

Setting up for classes only

If you are planning on using Pogozo as a second software for classes only, you only need to set up the basics.

  1. Add your team members. Since you are doing classes only your team can all be coaches.

  2. Create your contracts and waivers. If you want to add contracts and waivers to classes or memberships this is a great time to do these.

  3. Email, SMS and push notification templates. Again, in preparation for creating class types, set up your templates for booking confirmations and reminder.

  4. Create memberships. If you plan on selling memberships for your classes, for example a 10 pack or 2 x weekly membership. Don't forget to integrate with Stripe first.

  5. Import your clients. Our friendly team at Pogozo can import your client's for you, simply send us an email to hello@pogozo.com and let us know what date you would like us to upload your clients. Once we confirm your upload date all thats left to do is send us your exported client list.

Once you have your exported client list, please upload it to your preferred cloud storage service (for example Microsoft OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc) or data share services (for example WeTransfer) and share the access with hello@pogozo.com. This ensures that your data is always in your hands. We don't store any of your data outside of Pogozo once the transfer is complete and has been checked by you. If you are unsure how to do this, please contact us for more info.

We recommend you perform your export and upload it to your chosen storage option the day before your scheduled transfer, so that we have time to check your data export is in the correct format. all you need to do is send us your exported client list

  6. Create unique booking pages to embed into your website or social channels.

That's it! You are now ready to take your first class in Pogozo. Get your team and clients ready to roll with these handy resources:
