You can customise how you communicate with your clients about their appointments and classes.
For simple one-step communication you can use the communication settings within a specific appointment or class type.
There are four main types of communications:
Appointment booking notifications will be sent at the time the appointment is booked.
TIP If you block book classes (for example book 10 classes at a time, or book classes indefinitely) we recommend you DO NOT have any notifications for booking confirmations, as a booking confirmation will send for every booking you have made and clients may end up with hundreds of emails at one time.
Appointment reminder notifications will send 48 hours before an appointment.
Appointment cancellation notifications will send at the time of cancellation.
Appointment DNA notifications will send when the client's status is changed to DNA on the appointment calendar.
For each notification type you can select multiple notification methods. For each method of communication you select you will then be required to select the communication template.
To set or update your communication go to Setting, then click on Appointments, Classes and memberships then select either Class types or Appointment types.
From your list of appointment or class types click on the three dots and select Edit
Scroll down to the communication section.
In the first drop down you need to select your communication method. Click on the communication type to select and then click on it again to deselect.
Next select a template for each communication method. We have set up some simple templates, however you can chose to customise these or create your own from scratch if you'd prefer.
Once you are done updating your communication choices don't forget to go to the bottom and select Update.
