Multi practitioner appointments are appointments that you can allocate more than one practitioner to a single appointment.

Each practitioner assigned to the appointment will:

  • have the appointment scheduled in their own appointment calendar

  • be able write their own appointment note for the appointment

  • be able to create an invoice for the appointment (although you can also create only a single invoice).

Some scenarios where you might use the multi practitioner appointment settings include:

  • case conferences

  • complex clients requiring two practitioners

  • appointments with a primary practitioner and an allied health assistant

  • multidisciplinary home visits

  • student practitioners

Any appointment can be a multi practitioner appointment, just make sure you select Yes in the settings for the Appointment type.

On the main menu go to Settings.

Click on the the sub-menu Appointments, classes & memberships and then Appointment types.

Either create a new appointment or edit an existing appointment.

Photo - in canva please create a photo with two photos side by side, one showing the create appointment button and one showing the edit exiting appointment action - upload it as a single photo.

Under the Appointment details scroll down to Multi practitioner and select Yes.

Don't forget to scroll to the bottom and click the button to Create or Update your appointment.

You can now select multiple practitioners for this appointment type when booking an appointment on the calendar.
