Pogozo makes schedule your classes easy.

We recommend using the class schedule for all your recurring classes. While you can use the class schedule to create a one-off class, we think you might find it easier to create one off classes straight on the class calendar itself.

To create a new class schedule go to the main menu and click Settings.

Click on the sub-menu Appointments, Classes & Memberships then Class Schedule.

To create a new class click the button + Add New Class Schedule.

Alternatively, if you have classes already in your class schedule you should see them all here. To edit an existing class, click on the class you wish to edit and the class details page will slide open, then on the class details page click Edit.

From here you will be able to fill in or edit your class schedule details. Below is a quick run down of some of the settings on this page.

Class details

Class name is the specific name for this class and is how your clients will know what this class is. For example Beginners Yoga or Pilates with Becky. If you don't include a class name we will use the class type as the class name instead.

Class capacity is how many people can book into the class.

Business location if your business has multiple locations this ensures the class is scheduled at the right location.

Class start date is the date you want your classes to start appearing in the class calendar. You can set classes to start from today or anytime in the future.

Start and end time indicates the duration of your class.

Once you have finished creating your class, head to the bottom of the page and click Create New Class.

Recurring class

If you would like your class to reoccur select the checkbox next to Class is recurring?

Repeat every is the interval of how often the class recurs.

Frequency is the unit of time between intervals.

For example a class that Repeats every "1" Frequency "Day" will be schedule on the calendar every day of the week. A class that Repeats every "2" Frequency "Weeks" will be scheduled on the calendar fortnightly.

You can further customise your schedule based on the frequency you choose.

Weekly class schedules can be customised by selecting the day of the week. For example to schedule a class every week on a Monday and Wednesday you would select Repeat every "1" Frequency "Week" on Monday and Wednesday.

Monthly class schedules will schedule the class on the same day each month.

Yearly class schedules will schedule the class on the same day each year.

Class ends is when your recurring classes should stop.

TIP The way you create classes in the schedule will determine the pattern of reoccurrence when booking clients in for recurring classes in the calendar.

The best way to set up your schedule will depend on the way in which your clients attend recurring classes.

Example 1

If you schedule a class at 8am to recur on Monday, Wednesday and Friday every week, and you book the client in for the 8am class on Monday and choose to make that a recurring booking, the client will be booked in for the 8am class on Monday, Wednesday and Friday every week.

This schedule is best for businesses where clients are likely to attend the same class every day.

Example 2

If you want to be able to book recurring classes for a client for a single day, for example every Monday only (not Wednesday and Friday), you will need to set the class schedule up with a 8am class on Monday that recurs weekly, then create another 8am class on Wednesday that recurs weekly, and then create a 8am class on Friday that recurs weekly.

You can also book clients in for multiple "single" days. For example you can book the same client into the Monday and Wednesday recurring classes. This allows for more customisation for each individual client based on their individual needs.

This schedule is best for businesses where clients are likely to attend a single class at the same time/day every week.

Assign Coaches

You will need to assign at least one team member to take your classes, however you can assign more than one if you need. You can assign any team member who has the role of coach or practitioner as a class coach.

Click on the button Assign coach search for the team members name and select the team member you want. You can add additional coaches by clicking on the Add additional coach button. To remove a team member from the class click the X next to the team members name.

Once you have finished filling in or editing the class details make sure you scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the button Create new class or Update button.
