Whether you want to create a recurring class schedule or class timetable for your regular classes or you want to create a once off class or workshop, creating classes in Pogozo is straightforward and gives you the flexibility to set up classes depending on your business needs.
Creating a recurring class schedule or regular class timetable
To create recurring classes in Pogozo you will need to create a class schedule. Go to Settings and select Appointments, Classes & Memberships.
From there, click on Class Schedule and choose to add new class schedule.
π‘ While you can use the class schedule to create a once off class we recommend using this method if you are creating a recurring class.
From here you can add the details of your class. You will need to include the following:
Class name - this is what will show on the class calendar for both your team members and clients. An example of a class name might be Pilates, Yoga with Alex or CrossFit. If you choose not to enter a class name, the class type will show on the calendar instead.
βClass capacity - this is the maximum number of clients you can have in a class
βClass type - this is the class type and will show on the invoice for the class. An example of a class type might be Group Exercise, or Group Physiotherapy.
βBusiness location - this is where the class is offered.
βClass start date - this will be the first date the class will appear on the calendar.
βStart and end times - this is the time the class will start and finish.
If the class is recurring, select the Class is recurring option and input the frequency and end date of the recurring class, if applicable.
Lastly, you need to assign the coaches for these classes. Pogozo allows you to either assign one coach for all the recurring sessions or different coaches for different days. You can also assign more than one coach to each class.
Once you have completed all the necessary class details, scroll down and click Create New Class to save.
Once saved, the class will appear in your class schedules in settings and you will also see it in your calendar under classes or appointments.
Creating a single or once off class
You can create single or once off classes directly via the class calendar. To do this, go to the Calendar in Pogozo, select Classes
Then click on the time and day you want to add the class.
A pop-up window will appear, prompting you to fill out the class details. You will need to include the following:
Class name - this is what will show on the class calendar for both your team members and clients. An example of a class name might be Pilates, Yoga with Alex or CrossFit. If you choose not to enter a class name, the class type will show on the calendar instead.
βClass capacity - this is the maximum number of clients you can have in a class

βClass start date - this will be the first date the class will appear on the calendar.
βStart and end times - this is the time the class will start and finish.
After entering the information, click create new class to save it.
The class will then appear in your class calendar.
βοΈ It is important to note that if you create a class directly from the calendar, it will not be recurring. This means the class will only appear in your calendar for the chosen date and will not automatically show up for the following weeks.
By using either of these methods, you can easily create and manage classes in Pogozo, helping you stay organised and making it simple for clients to book their sessions.
