Our membership upgrade is here! And with it comes some exciting new features, as well as improvements to existing functionality.

This guide is an overview of what's new and what's changed.

What's new?

Custom Descriptions

You can now add your own custom descriptions to your memberships. This can be seen by your clients in the Pogozo App.

Always start on a Monday

For membership on weekly cycles (1 week, 2 week, 4 week etc) you can now lock your membership start date to Mondays only, perfect for simplifying payment dates for your clients and planning cashflow for your business.

Allow (or Restrict) clients to purchase for future start date

You can now control if your membership can be purchased for a future start date or not via the Pogozo App. If you're running a limited time offer and want to restrict clients from purchasing memberships into the future - this is the perfect setting for you.

Use Inclusions to create complex packages

With the new inclusions functionality you can determine exactly what you want in your memberships, including a combination of both appointment and class types. The 'per billing cycle' and 'per week' limits allow you to get even more granular in how the membership can be used.

Invoices on check-in

We've added more flexibility around invoicing individual classes/appointments when the membership is redeemed, including the new options to collate the invoices at the end of the billing cycle or disable automatic invoicing altogether.

Price allocated per appointment/class

This new option allows you to set a price allocated in the itemised invoice for each inclusion line in your membership - ideal for packs that include a combination of services and classes that vary in price.

Link stock to your memberships

Have an introductory mat class that comes that includes a mat, or maybe you give a pair of Pilates socks on sign up? You can now link that stock item to the membership to be deducted from inventory when the membership is purchased.

Allow clients to cancel their own memberships

Let your clients cancel their own subscriptions or restrict their ability to cancel via the Pogozo App. This is set at a membership type level giving you flexibility to choose what is right for each pack.

Edit membership start and end dates

Mistakes happen and circumstances change, now you can offer greater flexibility with the option to adjust the memberships start and end date.

Restore past memberships

The Edit Dates functionality is also available for expired memberships giving you the ability to extend the date range and make the membership active again.

What's changing?

Goodbye Pass Cards

Instead of two different membership types each with recurring and non recurring options, we've simplified this to just Recurring and Non-recurring. Can you still create Pass Card style packages? Absolutely! In fact, our guide Creating non-recurring memberships explains how to do this.

More control over hold periods

We've included more options for pause period settings including a new Duration (weeks) setting. Requiring your clients to hold for calendar week ( Monday - Sunday.

New ways to view usage

With the introduction of multiple inclusion lines that may have their own unique usage limits came the need for updates to the way we display usage.

You can still click on the usage numbers next to the membership on the client's profile for an overview of their usage. Additionally you can select 'View membership usage details' for a more information including the full membership inclusion details.

Payment processing changes

All non recurring memberships purchased via the mobile app will be charged immediately, even if the start date is in the future.
Recurring memberships will still be charged on the start date of the membership.
