Adding contacts to your client's profile
To send a document or email from a client's profile to a third party we suggest you first add them as a contact to the client's profile. This is an important step to ensure you're not accidentally sending information to the wrong contact.
To add a contact go to the client's profile.
On the client details page scroll down to contacts and select Add contact.
Enter in the contact details. If the contact is an alternate biller and you want the contact to be named on the invoice sent to the third party check the Alternate biller check box.
Don't forget to press Add new contact to save.
Creating an email template to send to third parties
The benefit of creating email templates is that you can save time by not having to type out the same thing each time you send a document or invoice out. Creating a simple email template that pre-populates the client's name and the name of the contact person makes this process even simpler.
To create an email template you can read our how to guide here.
