There are a number of ways you can send an SMS through Pogozo including:

  • Sending automated SMS for booking confirmation, reminders etc for classes and appointments.

  • Sending SMS as part of an automated sequence

  • Sending one off SMS to clients or audiences through Communications

  • System generated SMS

With each type of SMS there are a couple of things to check if your SMS isn't sending and we will go through each type below.

Turn on global SMS settings

Firstly, make sure to turn SMS "on" in the global SMS settings.

Go to Settings, Communication and Marketing, Communication settings.

Scroll down to Notification settings and make sure that SMS is ticked. If you make changes, be sure to scroll to the bottom and click Update changes.

Make sure you have subscribed

SMS are only available for businesses who have signed up for a paid subscription. If you are still on your free trial you you will need to purchase a Pogozo subscription to use the SMS features. Don't worry, you won't be charged until your 30 days are over.

To subscribe to Pogozo go to Settings, Business, Pogozo Subscription.

Then click on Start your subscription today! This will open a pop up where you can fill in your subscription details.

Select your number of practitioners using the slider or you can simply enter the number if you'd prefer.

Enter in your credit card details and any promo codes you might have.

Let us know how you found out about us.

Select the box to agree to our terms and conditions and privacy policy.

Then click Complete payment and start subscription, and you're done!

BONUS TIP The mobile number is international

Pogozo uses a number of general numbers including some Australian numbers and some international numbers.

If you have not turned on 2-way SMS the number your SMS is sent from will be one of the generic Pogozo numbers.

To ensure the number is sent from an Australian mobile number, and to have your own personalised mobile number you will need to turn on 2-way SMS.

To turn on 2-way SMS and get yourself a personalised mobile number go to Settings, Business, Integrations and toggle the twilio Two Way SMS to On.

Your unique twilio SMS phone number will show at the bottom of the integration box. This number is linked to exclusively to your business.
