What this report shows

The Revenue by team member report shows how much revenue each team member generated, split by source (appointments, classes, memberships, cancellations, stock and other), with genuine per-transaction averages for appointments and classes. Use it to compare team members and to see where each person's revenue comes from.

Who can see it

The Revenue-by-* reports are gated. You'll only see Revenue by team member in the Financials menu if you have the required reporting access (a super reporting level, or where your business has enabled these sub-tabs). If you don't have access, the item simply won't appear in the menu.

What's on the page

Team member revenue table

One row per team member, with a synthetic Business Total row at the top that sums every team member. Columns, in order:

  • Name = the team member.

  • Appointments = appointment revenue, with the average per appointment in brackets after it.

  • Classes = class revenue, with the average per class in brackets after it.

  • Memberships = revenue from memberships that team member sold.

  • Cancellations = revenue from cancellation fees.

  • Stock = revenue from stock/shop items.

  • Other = anything that doesn't fall into the categories above.

  • Revenue is the revenue excluding tax.

  • Tax is the tax portion.

  • Discounts, Refunds & Write offs are any discounts, refunds and write-offs against that team member's revenue.

  • Total = the team member's total revenue.

Details section

Below the table is a details section: a revenue overview table plus six category tables (Appointment, Class, Membership, Cancellation Fees, Stock, Other), each listing the individual billed items behind the totals.

Payment list

Filters and options

See Filters and date ranges for Location, Team member and the date controls.

Control specific to this report:

  • Paid / Accrued This switches the report between the two ways of counting revenue. See Paid vs Accrued revenue. In the Paid view over a date range, each amount is limited to the portion actually paid within that range.

How the numbers are calculated

Per-appointment and per-class averages

Unlike the "Revenue by appointments/classes" charts, the averages here are genuine per-transaction averages being the category revenue divided by the number of fully-paid items.

Average per appointment = appointment revenue ÷ number of fully-paid appointments

Average per class = class revenue ÷ number of fully-paid classes

Only fully-paid appointments/classes count towards the number used as the divisor.

Worked example: a team member has $3,000 of appointment revenue across 20 fully-paid appointments → the Appointments column shows $3,000 ($150.00) being a $150 average per appointment.

Paid vs Accrued

Whether these figures count invoices as booked or cash as received depends on the Paid / Accrued control. See Paid vs Accrued revenue for a full explanation and a worked example.
