Treatment plans are a handy way of keeping track of treatment blocks or treatment limits.

You can use the Pogozo treatment plans to manage your client's treatment through each phase, for example an acute rehab phase or post surgical phase. These are often considered private treatment plans and monitor session usage based on prognosis and traditional injury management timeframes.

You can also use the Pogozo treatment plan to manage treatment limits based on third party billing. Fore example you could track your clients Chronic Disease Management Plan sessions, DVA cycles or NDIS funding limits.

You can a treatment plan to a client's profile at any time, update it if things change, assign documents and much more.

To add a treatment plan to a client's profile, go to Clients, search for the client and click on their name to open their profile.

Once you’re in the client’s profile, select Appointments and Classes.

Under Appointments and Classes, click on Treatment Plans and then select the Create Treatment Plan button.

Next, you need to fill in the treatment plan details, below is some extra infomration to help you understand the different parts of the treatment plan.

You must give your treatment plan a name. We recommend using a name that is easy to identify the treatment plan. Most people find it easy to use the treatment plan type and start date or year, for example CDMP 2025 or DVA 03/05/2025. You could also use the injury for example R Total knee replacement.

The referral type can help categorise the reason for the treatment plan. The referral type also has an impact on the billable item, audiences and some reports.

The client reference number, case manager and referring doctor details are for easy reference.

The issue and expiry date can ensure the treatment plan is only active during a specific time frame. If no issue or expiry date is selected then the treatment plan can be used on any date.

Treatment plan monitoring allows you to set a limit for the usage of the treatment plan. The limit can be a monetary value or a set number of sessions. The treatment plan will be able to be used until this limit is reached. Once the limit is reached the treatment plan will be set as inactive.

The treatment plan will only include the cancelled and DNA appointments in the treatment plan limits if the check box is selected.

You can also add a document the treatment plan. You can add a document or letter using one of thetemplate you have created in Pogozo or add PDF such as a referral.
